Live-On-Site Duty Manager

About the Role
As Duty Manager, you'll oversee daily hotel operations, lead and support the front office and guest services team, and be a visible, hands-on presence ensuring every guest has an exceptional stay. Living on-site, you'll be closely connected to the property and well placed to respond quickly and effectively whenever needed.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day hotel operations across shifts
Lead, coach and support front office and guest service staff
Handle guest inquiries, feedback and escalations with professionalism




Monitor and maintain service standards, presentation and compliance
Support rostering, stock control and reporting
Respond to on-site incidents and operational needs outside standard hours
Work closely with the Head of Operations to drive performance and guest satisfaction

About You
Previous experience in a similar hotel leadership role
Strong leadership and guest service skills
Flexible and available to be on-site, including responding after hours when required
A proactive, solutions-focused approach
RMS experience highly regarded
Full working rights in Australia
