Casual Guest Service Agent – Surfers Paradise
Sovereign Gold Coastis seeking a professional and reliable Guest Service Agentto join our Front Office team in a casual position.
Located on the outskirts of the busy Surfers Paradise , Sovereign Gold Coast is a well-established tourist destination known for it's shorter stay leisure guests or those attending nearby local events and conferences.
Our personalised service, loyal guest base and supportive team culture make Sovereign what it is today.
We are also proudly part of Seabreeze Resorts, a growing portfolio of hotels and resorts throughout South East Queensland.
The Role
We are looking for a friendly, customer-focused Guest Services Agent to join our close-knit hotel team.
This role would suit someone looking for a few days a week who enjoys meeting and assisting guests, working independently and being part of a growing resort-style property.
You will be welcoming and approachable while also maintaining professional standards and sound business practices across all aspects of the role.
We are looking for someone who is genuinely guest-focused, enjoys creating a positive experience for our guests and is equally comfortable dealing professionally with contractors, owners and other stakeholders.
The role offers a variety of hours, with weekend availability essential.
Additional hours will be available during our upcoming busy peak periods and to cover staff leave.
There are no late-night shifts, with shifts generally finishing around 6.00 pm or 7.30 pm.

Key Responsibilities
Welcoming guests and providing exceptional customer service
Managing check-ins and check-outs
Handling reservations and guest enquiries
Processing payments and daily front office transactions
Assisting guests with local recommendations and requests
Coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance teams
Maintaining presentation standards throughout the hotel
About You
Previous hotel, reception, accommodation or customer service experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Professional presentation and friendly nature
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Reliable and committed to flexibility of weekend shifts
Gold Coast-based applicants preferred
