The Senior Independent Advisor is responsible for leading the development of independent, accessible policy advice and recommendations for executive leadership in alignment with established work plans and statutory functions.
Working directly under the Council Principal Member, the role involves facilitating discussions across the advisory council and its reference groups, running external stakeholder steering groups, and conducting research to ensure participant voices shape key advice, papers, and formal correspondence.
Additionally, the position provides strategic governance support such as contributing to annual planning and member inductions while directly supervising and mentoring a small team.
Part time 3 days per week
