Speedy Bins is a fast-growing waste management business based in Virginia, Brisbane, and we're looking for a reliable and motivated Bookkeeper / Accounts Officer to join our head office team.

About the Role
Reporting directly to management, you will play a key role in the day-to-day financial operations of the business.
Your responsibilities will include:
Accounts payable and receivable
Bank reconciliations
Payroll processing
Data entry and maintaining accurate financial records
Supplier and customer account management
Assisting with month-end reporting
Cash flow reporting
General administration and office support as required
Answering of the phones and taking of orders
About You
To be successful in this role,



you will ideally have:
Previous bookkeeping or accounts experience (minimum 2-3 years experience)
Experience with Xero (preferred)
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
A proactive and positive attitude
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (especially excel)
Ability to successfully complete pre-employment screening, including a criminal history check and drug and alcohol testing.
Waste industry experience is not required, but will be considered and advantage.
