You will work as part of a close-knit multidisciplinary team committed to deliveringexcellent clinical care to every patient, every time, while supporting continuity of care between emergency, inpatient and outpatient services.
The Opportunity As a GP Visiting Medical Officer, you will contribute to the provision of emergency and inpatient medical services across the hospital.
The role provides the opportunity to:
Work alongside experienced Emergency Medicine specialists
Provide high-quality clinical care within the Emergency Department
Assess and manage a broad range of emergency presentations
Provide inpatient medical services where required
Support seamless continuity between emergency, inpatient and outpatient care
Work collaboratively with nursing, allied health and specialist teams
Contribute to a supportive and collegial clinical environment
Provide medical care to the wider Armidale and surrounding regional community

About You We are interested in hearing from experiencedGeneral Practitionerswho have:
Current AHPRA registration or eligibility for registration
Fellowship of RACGP, ACRRM or equivalent
Strong recent experience in Emergency Medicine
Ability to work confidently in a regional Emergency Department
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
