The
Associated Grammar Schools of Victoria (AGSV)
is seeking experienced cricket umpires to join our
Firsts Cricket umpire panel
for the ******* season.

For more than a century, the AGSV has provided meaningful sporting opportunities for students across some of Victoria's leading independent schools. Our Firsts Cricket competition showcases a high standard of school cricket, combining strong competition with outstanding sportsmanship and student development.

We are looking for confident, experienced umpires who are passionate about the game and committed to creating a positive sporting environment for young athletes.

About the Role

Successful applicants will officiate Firsts Cricket fixtures on the following Saturdays:

October 17 & 24, November 7, 14, 21 & 28

****:
February 6, 13, 20 & 27, March 13 & 20

Dates/fixtures include both Boys Firsts and Girls Firsts competitions.

Appointments are made through a professional appointment process, with matches played in well-supported school sporting environments across Melbourne.

What We're Looking For

Applicants should have:





Demonstrated cricket umpiring experience in school, community, club, association or representative cricket

Strong knowledge and application of the Laws of Cricket

Excellent communication, professionalism and match management skills

A valid Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one)

Completion of required child safety training prior to commencement
