As a Technical Field Engineer supporting a federal government client in Canberra, you'll play a key role in maintaining secure, reliable, and mission-critical technology environments. Working onsite, you'll support end users and infrastructure across desktop, laptop, printer, hardware, software, and networking technologies.

This role offers excellent exposure to a variety of technologies while developing valuable field engineering and customer engagement skills.

What You'll Do
n
n
Provide onsite technical support for desktop, laptop, printer, and peripheral devices.
n
Investigate, diagnose, triage, and resolve technical issues in a deskside support environment.
n
Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related components.
n
Support users within a corporate Windows environment.
n
Perform printer installation, deployment, configuration, and disposal activities.
n
Build, upgrade, and diagnose PCs and associated hardware.
n
Deliver a high level of customer service and maintain customer satisfaction throughout every interaction.
n
Contribute to a secure, reliable,



and high-performing technology environment for a federal government client.

What You'll Bring
n
n
Minimum 6 months' experience in a deskside support environment.
n
Experience with fault investigation, triage, and issue resolution.
n
Knowledge of desktop support, server support, hardware, networking, and software troubleshooting.
n
Strong hardware diagnostic and PC build/upgrade capabilities.
n
Experience with printer deployments and support activities.
n
Test and Tag experience is highly regarded.
n
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
n
Current Driver's Licence.
n
NV1 or NV2 Australian Security Clearance (mandatory).
n
