Job Description
This is a diverse role combining trade and customer support, reservations and ticketing, inside sales, groups and MICE, fare analysis and commercial sales support. You'll work closely with the Sales & Operations Manager and wider commercial team, helping deliver outstanding service to our trade partners and customers while supporting initiatives focused on revenue growth.

Key responsibilities
n
Providing reservations, ticketing and inside sales support to the trade, customers and commercial sales team.
n
Quoting, ticketing and managing Group and MICE business.
n
Supporting the sales team with reporting, presentations, events and point-of-sale materials.
n
Assisting with newsletters and other sales and marketing content.
n
Maintaining and updating CRM systems, airline databases and portals.
n
Conducting fare benchmarking and pricing analysis to assess competitiveness in the market.
n
Monitoring fare validity and working with the sales team to take appropriate action.
n
Supporting commercial activities including account development, performance analysis,



strategic planning and initiative implementation.
n
Working collaboratively across the wider commercial team to help drive revenue growth and business outcomes.
n
About you
n
2+ years' experience working within an airline or travel agency.
n
Solid CRS/GDS reservations and ticketing experience, with knowledge of at least one GDS.
n
A solid understanding of airfare pricing, fare construction, groups, airline policies and procedures.
n
Strong knowledge of the Australian and New Zealand travel industry.
n
A genuine commitment to customer service and an exceptional telephone manner.
n
Strong Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
n
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
n
A self-motivated, positive and proactive approach.
n
The ability to collaborate effectively and contribute to a broader commercial team.
