We are currently seeking a motivated Yardperson to support operations at our Rockhampton CBD branch.
n
About the Role
n
In this hands-on role, you will support the day-to-day operations of the branch and help ensure equipment and facilities are maintained to a high standard.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
General yard duties, including cleaning and preparation of hire equipment and maintaining the branch - Forklift license a must
n
Supporting daily branch operations, including deliveries when required
n
Assisting mechanics within the workshop
n
Participating in in-house training for machinery operation
n
Maintaining and contributing to a robust safety-first culture
n
Working collaboratively with the team to ensure excellent customer service
n
n
About You
n




To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:

A current driver's license and reliable transport
n
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
n
Good communication skills and a positive team attitude
n
Commitment to workplace health and safety practices
n
Ability to follow instructions and ask questions when needed
n
Demonstrated reliability and punctuality
n
Excellent customer service skills
n
n
The following would be highly regarded:

Mechanical aptitude or experience
n
Experience working in a yard, workshop, or industrial environment
