Vision Freight Systems is seeking a qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our team in the Brisbane depot and take control of the fleet maintenance.
n
Vision Freight Systems specialises in express and general freight servicing North Queensland daily from Brisbane. We are a family owned & operated Company with over 20 years' experience in the Road Transport Industry. We currently have over 80 employees across 7 locations. Our Brisbane depot operates a fleet of 50 plus vehicles including prime movers, rigid body trucks and trailers.

We are currently seeking highly motivated individual to join our team:
n
Role: Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
n
Location: The location of employment will be at our Rocklea Depot,
n
The position will include duties such as but will not be limited to:
n
n
Taking responsibility of the Brisbane based fleet
n
Carrying out vehicle inspections and maintenance
n
Ability to diagnose & action mechanical faults
n
Schedule all servicing for dealer serviced vehicles
n
Maintaining a safe, organised workshop and work area




n
Ensuring that all paperwork is compliant with administration procedures
n
n
In order to be successful in this role you must possess the following skills, attributes and qualifications:
n
n
Trade qualifications as a Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic (essential)
n
Experience with American, European & Japanese Vehicles
n
Welding and Fabrication experience would be an advantage
n
Ability to document, record and track servicing and maintenance of all vehicles
n
Ability to demonstrate a commitment to OH&S;/WHS policies, procedures and regulations
n
Reliable and honest
n
Great work ethic
n
