About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Junior Sales Assistant to join our sales team at Morayfield QLD. This is a full-time position that offers an excellent opportunity to launch or develop your career in automotive sales. As a Junior Sales Assistant, you will work alongside our experienced sales team to support the sales process, learn industry best practices, and develop the skills necessary to become a successful sales professional. This role is ideal for someone with strong interpersonal skills, a willingness to learn, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
Key responsibilities
Greet and welcome customers to the dealership, creating a warm and professional first impression
Assist senior sales consultants and Manager with customer enquiries
Support the preparation of quotations and sales documentation under supervision
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales leads using our dealership management system
Help maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming environment
Follow up with customers on leads and enquiries as directed by senior team members




Support the team with administrative tasks including scheduling test drives and managing appointments
Support the team with all reconditioning and advertising needs including photography
What we're looking for
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers from diverse backgrounds
A positive attitude, enthusiasm, and genuine interest in the automotive and sales industry
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and learn from experienced colleagues
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Reliability and punctuality with a professional appearance
Basic computer skills and proficiency with digital systems
A valid clean Australian manual driving licence
Willingness to listen and learn from experienced management
Previous retail or customer service experience is advantageous
Knowledge of vehicles or a genuine passion for automobiles is desirable
Automotive sales involve Saturday with a rostered day off mid week
