On-call responsibilities in line with operational requirements

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Support and supervise daily workshop operations alongside the team
n




Assist with servicing, repairs, diagnostics, and complex mechanical issues
n
Allocate jobs, manage priorities, and ensure workflow efficiency
n
Provide guidance, mentoring, and hands‐on support to technicians and apprentices
n
Participate in breakdown response, field service callouts, and on‐call duties
n
Maintain strong safety, compliance, and housekeeping standards within the workshop
n
n

What We Are Looking For
n
n
Certificate III in Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent)
n
Demonstrated experience in a senior trade, leading hand, or workshop supervisory role
n
HR Licence (preferred)
n
Strong technical knowledge across diagnostics, maintenance, and complex repairs
n
Sound understanding of compliance requirements and maintenance practices
n
Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
n
Strong organisational and problem‐solving abilities
n
A proactive, can‐do attitude with a commitment to safety and quality workmanship
n
n
