About the role

We are currently seeking a Casual ENG Camera Operator/Editor to join our team in Newcastle/Central Coast. Reporting to the State News Director - NBN, you will be responsible for shooting and editing high quality stories for news and updates. Working in a regional newsroom is an prospect like no other - it is truly a rewarding experience where you will get to shoot all rounds of news. In areas such as the environment, sport, politics, you name it - you have the control to make a difference within the community.

About you

Demonstrated skills with both camera operation and editing
n
Experience shooting interviews, sport and community activities
n




A high level of accuracy and excellent attention to detail
n
Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
n
Ability to operate productively in a team environment, contributing positively to our operation and to working relationships
n
Ability to contribute ideas, and to demonstrate initiative and flexibility
n
Positive work ethic, with ability and willingness to learn new systems
n
High level of creativity with the flair to 'see' a news story
