An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Fund Accountant to join a leading property investment and funds management firm. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting skilled looking to advance their career in the property funds sector. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial reporting, managing fund operations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for property funds.
n
Maintain general ledger integrity and perform reconciliations.
n
Process distributions, capital calls, and investor reporting.
n
Assist with tax compliance, including GST, BAS, and income tax returns.
n
Liaise with auditors, external stakeholders, and fund managers.
n
Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and accounting standards.

Support process improvement initiatives and system enhancements.

About You:

Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
n
CA/CPA qualified or working towards certification.
n
2-4 years of experience in fund accounting, preferably in property funds or real estate investment.
n
Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards (IFRS/AASB) and tax regulations.
n
Experience with fund administration systems and accounting software.
n
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
