We are seeking a friendly and professional Medical Receptionist to join our team at our Port Macquarie - Lord Street clinic on a casual basis.

This is a casual position with the potential to lead to a permanent part-time opportunity for the right candidate. Please note that a permanent part time position is not guaranteed and will be subject to business needs and performance.

The successful candidate will need to be available to work Monday to Friday, across shifts between 6:00am and 6:00pm.
n
As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Greeting patients warmly and assisting with check-in procedures.
n
Answering emails and phone calls promptly and handling enquiries professionally.
n
Advising patients of preparation requirements prior to relevant scans.
n
Processing billing procedures, including private, Medicare, Workers Compensation and DVA.
n
Collaborating with clerical and technical staff, radiologists and referrers.
n
n
What we're looking for:

Clear verbal and written communication skills.
n
Strong organisational abilities to manage appointments and patient flow.
n




Confidence working across multiple screens and systems.
n
Previous experience in medical reception.
n
Availability to work Monday to Friday, with shifts scheduled between 6:00am and 6:00pm.
