Gold Coast Fireplace & BBQ Centre – Bundall QLD
The role involves delivering fireplaces, BBQs and related products from our stores and warehouse directly to customers. Deliveries are generally lower volume and require considerably more care due to the size, weight and value of the products. Delivery runs generally take place 2-3 days per week, covering Brisbane, the Gold Coast and down to Byron Bay. The remainder of the week will involve warehouse duties, receiving and preparing stock, loading vehicles and assisting with general warehouse operations. The delivery vehicle is a small pantech truck fitted with a tail lift and can be driven on a standard car licence.
Key responsibilities
Delivering fireplaces, BBQs and related products to customers
Loading, restraining, transporting and unloading valuable goods safely and without damage
Receiving and preparing stock
Assisting with general warehouse operations
Dealing directly with customers during home deliveries
About you
Practical experience in correct load restraint and securing heavy products for transport
Confident loading, restraining, transporting and unloading valuable goods safely and without damage
Forklift experience with a current forklift licence preferred
Physically capable
Reliable and punctual
Careful with products
Comfortable dealing directly with customers during home deliveries
Available across Monday to Saturday, as some Saturday work will form part of the roster
