About the Role /n

As a Dispatch Controller , you will be responsible for coordinating bus and driver movements to ensure services run efficiently and on time. You will manage daily scheduling, respond to last-minute changes, and work closely with drivers and depot teams to maintain service excellence.

Your ability to stay organised under pressure, problem-solve in real time, and build strong relationships will be key to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities /n

Coordinate bus and driver movements to meet service and network performance targets

/n
Ensure all scheduled work is covered and respond to last-minute changes

/n
Monitor and report on depot run-outs, ensuring timely departures

/n
Manage driver schedules, leave requests, and compliance with fatigue guidelines

/n
Support operational continuity by responding to incidents and service disruptions

/n
Act as the first point of contact for drivers, providing guidance and operational support

/n




Ensure accurate payroll processing for drivers, including overtime and variations

/n
Assist with driver training and route familiarisation

/n

About You /n

/n
Experience coordinating large teams in a fast-paced workplace

/n
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail

/n
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operational systems Ability to work independently and as part of a team

/n
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide transparent instructions in person and over radio/phone

/n
Understanding of safety and compliance requirements in a regulated environment

/n
Medium Rigid driver’s licence and relevant authority (or willingness to obtain)
