Some want a lawyer who already runs the file.

The work:
Private-client family law: parenting, property, financial agreements, divorce, and court when the matter will not settle
Files you can own,



with support that matches the firm — tight specialist teams in some seats, broader full-service infrastructure in others
Client conferences, FDR, drafting, negotiations and appearances in the Federal Circuit and Family Court

Hybrid and in-office mix differs by firm. Say what you need.

Who should apply?

You have family law experience in Australia — typically 2 to 10 years PQE, though a sharper or heavier CV will still be read. You can take a parenting or property matter from first conference to a consent order or a hearing. You write in English a client can use.
