Position: Cook at Indoz Curry House

Indoz Curry House is a newly opened Indian restaurant located in Woree, Cairns, QLD, Australia. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team on a full time basis. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and a solid understanding of Indian cuisine.

Key Responsibilities:

/n
Prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes according to our menu and recipes

/n
Ensure all food is prepared and presented in a timely and consistent manner

/n
Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety

/n
Monitor and order supplies as needed

/n
Collaborate with the kitchen team to create new dishes and improve existing ones

/n
Train and supervise junior kitchen staff

/n
Keep track of inventory and assist with stock control

/n
Follow all health and safety regulations

/n

Requirements:

/n
Minimum of 12 months of work experience as a Cook in a similar role

/n




Certificate 3 or above in cookery

/n
Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine and cooking techniques

/n
Ability to work in a quick-paced environment and handle multiple tasks

/n
Excellent communication and teamwork skills

/n
Attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately

/n
Availability to work flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings

/n

We offer a competitive salary of $76,000 to $82,000 per year, depending on experience, plus superannuation. This is a full-time position with the opportunity for career growth and development within our expanding restaurant.
