The Opportunity
Appoint is seeking a
Building Designer, Architectural Designer, Architectural Draftsperson or Design Coordinator
to join this Brisbane team.
Reporting to the Managing Director, you'll develop concepts, layouts and design documentation for remote workforce accommodation projects, working closely with the wider project team.
This hands-on role covers design, drafting, consultant coordination, tender support and documentation, giving you the opportunity to contribute from concept through to delivery.
Duties
Develop workforce accommodation concepts, camp configurations, village layouts and supporting infrastructure plans
Prepare concept plans, site layouts and design documentation using Revit and AutoCAD
Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, suppliers and project teams throughout the design process
Review drawings, specifications and consultant documentation for accuracy, compliance and completeness
Support tenders and project delivery through design reviews, technical information, walkthroughs, design registers and change management
Skills and Experience




A tertiary qualification in architecture, design, building design or a related discipline
Experience across commercial or residential building design, architectural draughting or design coordination
Advanced capability using Revit and AutoCAD
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
Demonstrated experience developing layouts and design documentation
Experience across modular construction, accommodation facilities, camps or infrastructure-led projects would be particularly valuable.
