projects across South-East Queensland – focused on the Brisbane to Gold Coast region or rural projects.

About the Opportunity:
Cadetship or Summer holiday students – are typically year first to third year university students that participate in paid work, whilst completing their education. The program would run throughout November to February during the summer holidays in a full-time work capacity, and part-time outside of those months with flexibility around study.
This is a outstanding way to utilise your academic knowledge and understanding, and turn it into practical, real-world capabilities to further your university studies and your future Surveying career. Development pathways in different civil projects and the ability to network and be mentored by a variety of experienced project teams.

This opportunity is aimed for undergraduate Surveyors looking to get a taste of what a career within the civil industry would be like. This will include working on Civil projects ranging from FRP Concrete Structures, Pipe work projects, Road projects, Drainage, Bridges, Renewable Energy, Gas projects, WWTPs, etc.
Your daily responsibilities may include:
Basic set-outs
Learn as-builts
Volume Surveying for trenches, bulk earthworks, etc
CAD Skills to present drawings and volumes
Assisting with data collection and reporting
Working collaboratively with the project team
Undertaking general administration duties for the survey team
About you:
Be a current Surveyor undergraduate.
Ability to commit to working full time – Mon to Fri throughout the Summer Holidays.
Hold a white card.
Have a passion for Civil construction and the willingness to learn from great industry professionals.
Motivated to want to learn and be challenged on site and in the office.
Relevant industry experience is highly regarded but not essential.
A current driver's licence and access to reliable transport (P1, P2 or Full).
