The Opportunity
n
In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of general freight throughout Townsville and surrounding regional areas. This position offers a combination of driving, customer interaction, and hands-on freight handling.

You will play an significant part in maintaining service standards while ensuring all deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and professionally.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
n

Deliver general freight throughout Townsville and surrounding areas
n
Complete multi- deliveries safely and efficiently
n
Load and unload freight as required
n
Conduct daily vehicle and pre-start safety checks
n




Complete run sheets and delivery documentation accurately
n
Provide exceptional customer service at every delivery point
n
Comply with all safety policies, procedures, and Chain of Responsibility requirements
n

What We re Looking For
n
n
Current HC Licence, with a minimum of 2 years experience preferred
n
Strong knowledge of the Townsville region
n
Excellent customer service and communication skills
n
Knowledge of load restraint practices
n
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
n
Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
n
Reliable, punctual, and professionally presented
n
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
