We're looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team and drive equipment reliability, preventative maintenance and continuous improvement at our Lidcombe site.
n
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you'll play a key role in moving our maintenance function from reactive to proactive, improving equipment performance and reducing unplanned downtime. Key responsibilities
n
n
Lead, coach and develop maintenance tradespeople and contractors.
n
Drive preventative, predictive and reliability-centred maintenance.
n
Improve equipment reliability, availability and reduce unplanned downtime.
n
Lead root cause analysis and implement sustainable corrective actions.
n
Plan and coordinate maintenance activities to minimise production disruption.
n
Manage maintenance work orders through the CMMS.
n
Drive continuous improvement across plant and equipment.
n
Monitor OEE, downtime, MTBF, MTTR and planned maintenance compliance.
n
Partner with Production,



Quality and Engineering teams.
n
Ensure compliance with WHS, food safety, quality, GMP and HACCP requirements.
n
Support capital projects, equipment upgrades and commissioning.
n

About you
n
You are a hands-on, solutions-focused leader who enjoys developing people and solving problems at their source.
n
n
Trade qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or related discipline.
n
Previous maintenance supervision experience within food, beverage, dairy, FMCG or manufacturing.
n
Strong understanding of preventative, predictive and reliability-centred maintenance.
n
Experience using CMMS for maintenance planning and scheduling.
n
Experience with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
n
Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
n
Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
n
Understanding of GMP, HACCP and WHS requirements.
n
Reliability Engineering or Asset Management
experience/qualifications.
n
Experience with TPM, Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement.
n
Predictive maintenance experience, including vibration analysis, thermography or oil analysis.
n
Exposure to automation, PLCs and modern manufacturing technologies.
