4Cyte Pathology is one of Australia's largest privately owned pathology laboratories. We are seeking enthusiastic and self-motivated Data Entry employees to join our rapidly growing team. Day time and evening shifts are available from Monday to Friday. Full time, part time and casual positions are available.

Key responsibilities
n
Accurately transcribing and interpreting patient and pathology request details into corresponding fields within the Laboratory Information System (LIS)
n
Maintaining data entry standards by following relevant SOPs and completing Competency Assessments
n
Verifying entered patient and request details by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or re-entering data
n
Handling queries relating to data entry in a timely and professional manner
n
About you
n
Excellent data entry skills including high attention to detail,



accuracy and quick typing skills (minimum typing speed: 70 wpm and accuracy: 95%)
n
Knowledge of touch typing is mandatory
n
An outstanding work ethic and ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
n
Knowledge of grammar and punctuation
n
Robust analytical and problem-solving skills
n
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
n
Ability to prioritise and work to time constraints
n
Ability to maintain a high degree of discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism
n
Understanding of medical terminology
n
Ability to perform in a fast-paced work environment
