AMP Recruitment is currently seeking experienced Communications Technicians / Fibre Technicians for a long-term project based in Murarrie.

You'll be working in a team of two, carrying out audits on existing communications and control infrastructure, with a strong focus on fibre testing, documentation and accuracy.

The Role
n

Conduct audits on existing control panels and communications infrastructure
n
Verify as-constructed drawings against existing installations
n
Check cable labels, identification and documentation
n




Record findings and maintain accurate project documentation
n
Work closely with another technician in a two-person team
n
n
What We're Looking For:

Excellent attention to detail
n
Ability to work autonomously and accurately
n
n
Highly regarded:
n
n
Experience using Fluke CertiFiber Pro
n
Cat 6 / Cat 6A testing experience
n
Control panel auditing or inspection experience
n
Previous leading hand or senior technician experience
n
Strong QA and as-built documentation experience
n
n
This role would suit an experienced communications technician who is confident with fibre testing and enjoys detailed QA, auditing and documentation work.
