About the Role
As part of our Engineering Department, you will support the day-to-day maintenance and presentation of the hotel, helping ensure our guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities are maintained to a high standard.
Your responsibilities will include:
Painting, patching and general touch-up works throughout the hotel
General handyman and minor maintenance duties
Basic repairs to fixtures, fittings and hotel equipment
Preventative maintenance tasks
Assisting with room and public-area maintenance
Responding to maintenance requests from operational departments
Identifying maintenance issues and reporting larger works to the Chief Engineer
Supporting the Engineering team with ongoing projects and maintenance programs
Maintaining a safe,



clean and organised working environment
About You
We are looking for someone dependable, organised, and genuinely proud of the quality of their work.
You will ideally have:
Previous experience in a handyman, maintenance or painting role
Good general maintenance and repair skills
Painting and patching experience
Strong attention to detail
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good time-management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
A positive attitude and strong
can-do approach
A commitment to workplace safety
Previous hotel, hospitality, commercial building or facilities maintenance experience would be highly regarded
What We Offer
Full time position – Tuesday to Saturday
$70,000–$75,000 + Superannuation
, depending on experience
