Job Description
E-move Bikes The Retail Manager is responsible for organising and controlling the operations of an EMove Bikes retail store. The role involves determining product mix, stock levels, pricing, staffing, and service standards to ensure the store trades profitably, safely, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Benefits Task & responsibilities Job Duties Manage the day-to-day operations of the retail store, ensuring efficient sales, customer service and store activities. Determine product mix, stock levels and service standards based on customer demand and business requirements. Coordinate purchasing and stock ordering, and liaise with suppliers to maintain appropriate product availability.
Set and review retail prices and coordinate promotional and marketing activities in consultation with the Director. Oversee the sale and hire of e-bikes, e-scooters, e-moto products, accessories and related services. Maintain accurate records of stock, sales and financial transactions, and monitor store sales and performance.
Recruit, roster, train and supervise retail, hire and workshop-support staff to meet store requirements. Ensure the store complies with workplace health and safety, consumer protection and product safety requirements. Responsibilities
Take responsibility for the overall running of the store, including staff, sales, stock, customer service and daily operations. Monitor sales targets, operating expenses and gross margins, and report store performance to the Director. Coordinate retail sales, e-bike hire and workshop-support activities to maintain effective operations and customer service.
Resolve customer complaints,



warranty concerns and after-sales matters in accordance with company policies. Maintain a safe, organised and professionally presented showroom and ensure staff follow company procedures.
Qualification & experience Qualification, Skills and Experience Diploma or higher in Business Management, Retail Management, or a related discipline (or equivalent) Minimum of 1 year full-time equivalent experience as a Retail Manager or in a similar full managerial retail role Demonstrated experience with genuine managerial control over stock, pricing, staff and store performance (rather than shift-supervision duties alone) Experience in a retail environment involving technical, high-value or specialised product lines (such as e- mobility, automotive, bicycles or electronics) highly regarded Strong leadership and people-management skills, with the ability to train and motivate a retail sales team Sound commercial acumen, including budgeting, stock control and sales analysis Excellent customer service and communication skills Sound understanding of workplace health and safety and Australian Consumer Law as applied to a retail setting
