As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will provide assessment and evidence-based intervention to children and adolescents with a broad range of communication and swallowing needs. You can apply for either a primarily clinical role or a combination of clinical work and leadership of the SLP team. If interested in the Team Lead position, you will provide clinical leadership and support to the SLP team while maintaining a strong clinical caseload.

Key responsibilities
n

Provide assessment and evidence-based intervention to children and adolescents with a broad range of communication and swallowing needs
n
Develop individualised treatment plans and work collaboratively with families and other professionals
n
Collaborate regularly with Psychology, OT, Play Therapy and AHA teams
n
Participate in regular case conferencing and in-house professional development
n
Work primarily from the well-resourced Noosaville clinic, with some community visits where clinically appropriate
n
Manage a diverse and interesting clinical caseload with a high degree of professional autonomy
n
Provide clinical leadership and support to the SLP team (Team Lead position)
n
Support team members with clinical decision-making, case discussions and professional development (Team Lead position)
n
Help maintain high clinical standards and contribute to the ongoing development of the Speech Pathology service (Team Lead position)

Contribute to team planning,



mentoring and service development (Team Lead position)

About you
n
n
Speech Language Pathologist with 3+ years of paediatric experience
n
Experience working with children and adolescents aged 0-21 years
n
Ability to develop individualised treatment plans
n
Ability to work collaboratively with families and other professionals
n
Experience with case conferencing and professional development participation
n
Choice of clinical or Team Lead + clinical role, depending on your experience and career goals
n
Regular clinical supervision and support from experienced clinicians
n
