Job Description
Pryan is seeking an experienced Automation Tester for an immediate contract opportunity supporting a major Australian Federal Government digital transformation program.

The successful candidate will join a small team of Automation Specialists responsible for developing automated test suites and modules within an established enterprise testing framework.
n
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced automation professional with strong hands-on testing capability, CI/CD experience and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple Agile delivery teams.
n
The role
n
You will be responsible for developing and executing automated testing across major ICT releases, including:
n
n
Developing automated test playbooks, test scenarios and test scripts.
n
Working with multiple Agile delivery teams to understand release scope and testing requirements.
n
Undertaking functional, integration and regression automation testing for each Program Increment.
n
Reporting and tracking defects identified through automated testing.
n
Assisting with issue triage and resolution.
n
Developing dashboards to report automated testing outcomes.
n
Working with business areas, vendors and ICT delivery teams.
n
Providing advice on automation testing tools and approaches.
n

Essential experience
n
Applicants should demonstrate:

Experience working as part of a team of Automation Specialists.

Strong experience with automation testing tools including:n
n
Selenium
n
Postman
n
Swagger
n
Cucumber
n
n
Demonstrated experience developing and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
n
Experience supporting ICT projects within distributed or remote delivery teams.
n
Robust analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
n
Ability to manage multiple concurrent activities, priorities, dependencies and risks.
n
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
n
Ability to independently develop practical testing solutions.
n
High attention to detail.
n
