SCIS Group is looking for a skilled
Maintenance Handyman
to join our team in Brisbane. You'll be based across three large-scale distribution centers for a major client, working a set weekly roster (Monday–Friday, 7am–3pm) scheduled by our office. From proactive checks to urgent repairs, you'll play a key role in keeping these sites running smoothly – knowing no two days are ever the same.

What You'll Be Doing
Carrying out reactive and preventative maintenance across three rostered sites, keeping each facility safe, functional and running smoothly
Managing jobs raised by the client, requests communicated directly in office, and your own proactive inspections – taking true ownership of the site as if it were your own
Using our mobile job app daily to manage and track your work
Building strong, professional working relationships with on-site stakeholders and our office team
Following site-specific safety procedures and maintaining a strong safety focus for yourself and those around you every day
Managing your own workload and making smart decisions on priorities
Working independently and as part of a supportive, skilled team
What We're Looking For
You're an experienced handyman who takes pride in your work, values safety, and enjoys solving problems.
Trade Certificate in Carpentry is desired but not essential
Experience providing maintenance on commercial sites is required




Confident and professional communicator, comfortable liaising with clients and stakeholders on-site
Comfortable using a mobile phone and mobile applications for day-to-day job management
Ability to pass a National Police Check and other additional security clearances
