Townsville Cabinetry and Joinery (TCJ) is growing and we're looking for
two experienced Leading Hand Cabinetmakers
to join our team.
These are
predominantly factory-based roles
, leading a small crew and helping keep quality, productivity and workflow on track in our busy workshop.
What's on offer?
$42 per hour + super
Full-time, permanent role
Up to
10 hours overtime available each week

About the role
Working alongside the production team, you'll:
Lead and support a small team of cabinetmakers and apprentices
Keep production running smoothly and efficiently
Monitor quality, workflow and output
Manufacture and assemble high-quality cabinetry and joinery




Operate workshop machinery and equipment safely
Read and interpret plans and specifications
Assist with installations when required
Promote a safe, organised and productive workshop
About you
Trade-qualified Cabinetmaker (Certificate III or equivalent)
Strong cabinetmaking and joinery experience
Previous Leading Hand or supervisory experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
Strong communication and organisational skills
Positive attitude and team-focused approach
