Job Description
Ensure the safety and security of the Centre, property and persons therein. Provide Building Control Room coverage including but not limited to the monitoring of alarms and CCTV and operation of the automated security system. Shifts within our busy Security Control Room are also available for this position. Casual hours of duty will vary from shift to shift, across 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

Key responsibilities

Ensure the safety and security of the Centre, property and persons therein
n
Provide Building Control Room coverage including but not limited to the monitoring of alarms and CCTV and operation of the automated security system
n
Ensure visitors, agency staff and contractors have signed in via management system
n
Attend to gatehouse duties including but not limited to recording and access of vehicles to the venue
n
Participate as a member of the Emergency Response Team ensuring competent knowledge of fire exits, fire equipment and safety systems within the venue
n
Attend to and report any safety or security related accidents, injuries and incidents
n
Ensure timely and accurate communication and reporting to the required audiences
n

Experienced in assisting with security for major and prestigious events within a 5-star venue undertaking Building Control Room activities
n
Pride in your work that clearly shows attention to detail and well-crafted time management skills
n
Possess a current Qld Security Licence inclusive of crowd controlling and monitoring
n
Current First Aid Certificate required with an Advanced First Aid Certificate highly desirable
