As part of this partnership, The School Locker operates the on-campus retail store, providing students and families with access to quality school uniforms, stationery, and essential school resources. We are currently seeking a Casual Campus Store Customer Service Assistant to join our team and help deliver an exceptional retail experience to the New Lambton Public School community.

About the Role:
n
As a Casual Campus Store Customer Service Assistant, you will assist families with purchasing and fitting school uniforms while ensuring a smooth and efficient shopping experience. You will also support stock management, process sales, and maintain store presentation. This is a hands-on retail role where attention to detail and customer care are essential.
n
Key Responsibilities:
n
Provide friendly and helpful customer service to students, parents, and staff.
n
Assist customers with uniform fittings to ensure correct sizing.
n
Operate the point-of-sale system, process transactions,



and handle payments accurately.
n
Manage stock levels, including receiving deliveries, replenishing shelves, and organising displays.
n
Process and manage online orders, including packing and coordinating collections.
n
Maintain a clean, protected, and organised store environment in line with company and school standards.
n
Work independently and as part of a team to ensure smooth store operations.
n
Skills & Experience:
n
Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not essential.
n
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional approach.
n
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, particularly during peak trading periods.
n
A proactive team player with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
n
Confidence in using point-of-sale systems and handling cash and card transactions.
