We are a small but vibrant entrepreneurial hotel company focussing on customer satisfaction, surprise and service. We are currently seeking a full-time Manager to join our dynamic team located at The Cubana Ballina.
Key responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of motel operations, including guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, and administration
Ensure exceptional guest experiences by maintaining high standards of service, cleanliness, and comfort throughout the property
Manage all OTA's & booking systems
Oversee reservations, check-in/outs, and handle guest inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner
Monitor financial performance, rates, budgeting, and cost control measures to optimise revenue and profitability
Act as ambassador for the resort, engaging with guests to address concerns, fulfill requests, and ensure their satisfaction during their stay
Implement and manage dynamic rate strategy
Implement and manage social media strategy
Manage staff, rosters and payroll
Collaboratively develop and execute local marketing strategies, working with the owner, to attract new guests, maximise revenue opportunities,



and increase occupancy
Maintain all safety and hotel compliance measures
Pool testing including reporting compliance
Additional management of boutique 4 room sister property
Qualifications:
Previous experience in hotel/motel in a medium accommodation property
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to deliver exceptional service
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
Proven track record of managing budgets, achieving targets, and maximising profitability
Experience in social media campaigns
Good experience and knowledge of revenue management processes and implementing rate strategies
Knowledge of reservation and property management systems, and industry best practices
A passion for providing outstanding customer service and creating memorable guest experiences
Market-competitive salary package commensurate with experience. The position is live-out or live-in with overnight caretaking responsibilities.
