Randstad is pleased to be partnering with a manufacturing business based in Redbank in the Ipswich area. They are seeking a Payroll Officer with New Zealand payroll experience to join their team on a 3-4 month initial temporary basis, with the view for permanency.

About the role:
n
Reporting into the Payroll Manager, your primary responsibility will be processing Recent Zealand pays on a weekly and monthly basis, while assisting with Australian payroll processing. Your duties will include:
n

Processing end-to-end payroll across NZ and AU operations
n




Updating and maintaining accurate employee records
n
Reconciliation, audit checks, and resolving data discrepancies Interpreting relevant legislation, awards, agreements, and contracts
n
Preparing and lodging statutory returns and superannuation/tax disbursements Handling inquiries and resolving payroll-related issues promptly
n

About you:
n
n
2+ years experience in a payroll position
n
Experience with New Zealand payroll processing (essential)
n
Knowledge of awards, agreements, and payroll legislation
n
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
n
Full and unlimited Australian working rights
