We are looking for an organised and reliable
Purchasing Clerk
to join our team at our door and timber manufacturing business in
Lansvale NSW ****
.
The role involves processing purchase orders, purchasing timber and hardware, liaising with suppliers, obtaining quotes, following up deliveries and ensuring materials are available when required.
Key responsibilities:
Process and maintain purchase orders
Purchase timber, hardware and production materials
Liaise with suppliers regarding pricing, availability and delivery
Obtain and compare supplier quotes
Follow up outstanding orders and delayed deliveries
Monitor stock requirements and assist with replenishment
Maintain accurate purchasing and supplier records
Work closely with production, warehouse and sales teams
About you:
Previous purchasing, procurement or administration experience preferred




Solid attention to detail and organisational skills
Good communication and computer skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Proactive, reliable and able to work independently
Experience in
manufacturing, timber, doors, hardware or building products
will be highly regarded. Experience with an ERP or purchasing system is an advantage.
