What Your Week Looks Like

Estimating & Bid Management: Own tenders from first-principles pricing, methodology, and scheduling through to closing.
n
Pre-Tender Strategy: Run pre-tender review meetings with leadership, advising which projects to target, negotiate, or avoid.
n
Seamless Project Handover: Transition awarded jobs cleanly to site teams, managing expectations and ensuring client promises are met on the ground.
n
Business Development: Leverage your Queensland network, open doors with new tier-level clients, and co-design capability statements and market campaigns.
n
Delivery & Operational Gap-Filling: When quoting volume is steady, you don't sit idle—you assist project teams, deliver small works packages, and resolve site challenges.
n
Systems & Team Building: Implement streamlined systems, maintain a tidy live tender register,



and manage pre-contracts support staff (including offshore team members, with potential international travel).

What You Bring

Proven Estimating Background: Demonstrated success compiling complete tenders, cost models, programs, and methodologies within construction, civil, or commercial trade sectors.
n
Commercial Acumen: Robust understanding of gross margins, contract administration, and project scheduling.
n
Client & BD Skills: Existing connections across Queensland, confident face-to-face communication, and professional representation at client meetings and industry events.
n
Agile Mindset: Comfortable wearing multiple hats—equally proficient at detailed spreadsheet analysis, client presentations, and site-level minor works coordination.
n
Standard Working Hours: Monday to Friday (start and finish times can be negotiated to suit you lifestyle)
