Job Description
Join the Victoria Racing Club (VRC) and play a key role in bringing community initiatives to life during one of Australia's most iconic events. Reporting to the Senior Community Manager, you'll support the delivery of high-profile community programs associated with the Melbourne Cup Carnival, including the much-loved Pin & Win campaign, the Lexus Melbourne Cup Tour, other Melbourne Cup Carnival needs and support surrounding the setup of the Melbourne Cup Foundation.

This role is casual contract 2 days per week until mid-November.

Key responsibilities
n
Supporting the planning and delivery of the Pin & Win campaign across the Melbourne Cup Carnival
n
Coordinating volunteer requirements for Pin & Win with charity partner
n
Assisting with Lexus Melbourne Cup Tour activities and other community initiatives
n
Organising event materials, collateral and activation resources
n




Providing administrative support for The Melbourne Cup Foundation
n
Building robust relationships with internal and external stakeholders
n
Ensuring activities are delivered in line with VRC policies, procedures and values
n
About you
n
3+ years' experience in events, marketing, fundraising or community engagement
n
Experience within the events, sporting or not-for-profit sectors is highly regarded
n
Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
n
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
n
Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
n
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with experience using CMS and Adobe programs desirable
