This is a Clinic Manager / Receptionist role at Gympie Health Management Centre. The position is 4 days per week. This role involves reception and practice management based out of our Gympie clinic where we also take phone bookings for our Verrierdale practise, which is open 2 days per week. You are a self motivated team member who enjoys working with people, is naturally organised and has a good eye for detail. You are a team player who can work independently and would like a varied role in a friendly allied health clinic. You are experienced with medical or allied health administration and practice management.

Managing the roster
Liaising with 3rd party payers
Collating receipts and reconciling payments
Stock levels maintenance
Creating and or modifying systems where appropriate
Greeting patients and making them feel welcome
Answering of phone and email enquiries
Liasing with staff, ensuring that responsibilities such as treatment plans and blogs have been submitted
Reception Duties
Greeting patients and making them feel welcome.
Answering of phone and email enquiries.
Managing appointments and practitioner schedules.
Processing payments and private health claims.
General administration.
Tidying and basic cleaning.

You will need:
Reception, administration and customer service skills.
Good computer skills and the ability to learn new systems.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A positive attitude and strong attention to detail.
Ability to learn how the use practice management software
Experience with medical or allied health practice management

We are an allied health clinic of primarily Osteopaths, however we are expanding into other modalities which currently include TCM, Naturopathy, Massage and Kinesiology. We have a friendly and open team culture. The Gympie clinic is a stand alone commercial building operating 5 days a week with an easy walk to the main street. We have a large following of local, regular clientele and we are looking to expand our reach, having increased the number of practitioners we have.
