OBE Organic was formed in the late ****'s by farming families in the pure heart of Australia. Today we remain a family-owned business, processing certified organic livestock and selling organic beef products to customers in domestic & export markets.
The Role
The Logistics, Sales and Quality Assurance Coordinator provides cross-functional support and back-up across logistics, sales, production and quality assurance, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and alignment with business goals. They are responsible for supporting decisions in relation to the achievement of sales, production and logistics targets within existing frameworks and budgets.

Continuity of operations maintained when filling in for logistics, sales or production staff.
Quality Assurance standards upheld with no compliance breaches.
Executive Team supported in achieving strategic and operational goals.
Core Responsibilities
Financial
Assists with inventory and stock control & participates in debtor management.
Ensures the minimization of costs incurred by the company.
Customers
Is involved in customers' order management, delivery of products, and updates to our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system regularly.
Creates new customer records and ensures existing records are maintained accurately.
As required, preparation of sales quotes and sales orders.
Contributes to the documentation and resolution of customer feedback and non-conformances.
Process
Responsible for supporting the day-to-day operation of sales, production, logistics and supply chain activities
Cross training in Logistics and Production, to provide backup during staff absences (all divisions)



to ensure continuity of business processes.
Ongoing understanding of OBE Organic products and our services, production, storage, transport and logistics.
Assist in monitoring workflows, identifying gaps or risks in workflows and provides solutions.
Support export and domestic logistics requirements.
Contribute to the creation of boning specification sheets based on customer requirements and the analysis of feedback sheets.
Attend production at the processing facility as required (approximately once a month).
Contribute to OBE Organic's Quality Assurance & Sustainability Initiatives & ISO**** Quality Management System
Assist in maintaining Quality Assurance systems and compliance with regulatory standards.
Contribute to our FLOURISH Sustainability Program covering four key pillars: People, Animals, Environment, Product.
Contribute to maintaining and improving our ISO ***** Quality Management System which serves to provide sales and logistics services for organic beef products.
Responsible for complying with OBE Organic policies, Government Legislation and Organic standards.
Ensure sales, logistics, production and quality assurance activities comply with relevant legislation, licence requirements and OBE Organic policies and procedures.
Ensure that relevant documentation is maintained in accordance with international
People
Lead by example, demonstrating company values and behaving in a way that supports the desired culture.

Job Requirements
Valid driver's licence and car.
An understanding of logistics and supply chain dynamics & industry experience is essential.
Demonstrated organisation and time management skills together with demonstrated resourcefulness and initiative in managing multiple priorities, often with competing deadlines.
Demonstrated experience in interpreting and applying policy and procedures in a complex environment.
Experience in working with and maintaining quality assurance policies and processes is desirable.
Experience with Microsoft Suite, Netsuite & BuySellMove would be desirable
