Based in South East Queensland (Richlands, Northgate and Sunshine Coast ) and North Queensland (Townsville and Cairns), we specialise in Boom, Scissor Lift and Forklift hire. Due to significant growth in the Business, we are currently seeking experienced and hardworking
Field Service and Workshop Technicians - Mechanics
to join our team and deliver qualified and reliable service for our customers. These positions report to our Service Managers and take direction from our Field Service Coordinators. Experience with EWP Access Equipment, Telehandlers, Forklifts, Hydraulic and Electrical fault finding combined with strong mechanical expertise is highly desirable but not essential.
Job tasks and responsibilities
Conduct daily Field and Workshop Service tasks as directed.
Carry out Pre-Hire Inspections, and other Scheduled Maintenance tasks including 90-Day and Annual Inspections on various equipment types, makes and models.
Carry out diagnosis, rectifications and major repairs as identified.
Conduct workshop service tasks including run-ups, repairs and major inspections as directed in line with operational needs.
Liaise with customers to schedule service activities and to coordinate access to equipment on various sites as required.




Undertake after hours duties and attend service call-outs as per the company on-call roster (where applicable).
Ensuring all equipment that is booked for hire, is operationally checked and ready for delivery.
Other duties as required to foster a team environment.
Skills and experience
Trade qualification in mechanical engineering, automotive, diesel fitting, or related field (Certificate III or equivalent)
Experience operating and maintaining various types of access equipment, telehandlers and forklifts in a safe and acceptable manner (training and licencing will be provided to assist and build your skill set).
Excellent time management skills and the ability to logically problem solve.
Good written and verbal communication skills (with fellow staff and customers).
A well-presented manner.
Construction White Card.
Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
Physically fit as from time to time some heavy manual handling may be required.
