What you'll be doing
n
Constructing high-quality custom cabinetry from client specifications and technical drawings.
n
Interpreting plans, measurements, and specifications to ensure accurate construction.
n
Working collaboratively with workshop and installation staff to meet production and installation deadlines.
n




Liaising with team members to coordinate workflow and keep projects progressing smoothly.
n
Installing hinges, handles, runners, and other hardware to completed cabinetry.
n
Checking finished work for accuracy, quality, and compliance with project requirements.
n
Working closely with the installation team to support a seamless handover from workshop to site.
n
Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe workshop in accordance with workplace health and safety requirements.
n
Sharing your knowledge and contributing positively to team standards and continuous improvement.
n
Taking pride in delivering workmanship that consistently meets Impact Kitchens' quality expectations.
n
Essential qualifications and experience
n
Demonstrated experience as a cabinetmaker, preferably in custom, architectural, or high-end joinery.
n
Relevant trade qualification, such as a Certificate III in Cabinet Making, or equivalent industry experience.
n
Strong ability to interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
n
Proven expertise in cabinet construction, assembly, hardware installation, and finishing.
n
Competence using common woodworking machinery, hand tools, and measuring equipment.
n
Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and quality control.
n
Ability to work independently, take responsibility for your work, and collaborate effectively with others.
n
Proven ability to meet production deadlines without compromising workmanship.
n
White Card and relevant workplace health and safety training, or willingness to obtain them.
