About the Role
n
As a Room Leader, you'll take the lead in creating a warm, engaging and high-quality learning environment where children and educators can thrive.
n
You'll work closely with your team to deliver meaningful learning experiences, support strong educational practice and build genuine relationships with children and families.
n
Most importantly, you'll be a positive role model who helps your team feel supported, confident and inspired.

What You'll Be Doing

Leadership & Team Support
n
n
Lead and support educators within your room
n
Mentor your team and model positive, high-quality practice
n
Create a collaborative, supportive and welcoming room culture
n
Support educators to grow their confidence and skills
n
n
Learning & Pedagogy
n
n
Lead engaging, child-led and play-based learning experiences
n
Support planning, observations, documentation and critical reflection
n
Embed EYLF V2.0 and the Shared Foundations Approach into everyday practice
n
Create inspiring environments that encourage curiosity,



exploration and FUN
n
n
Children & Families
n
n
Build warm and meaningful relationships with children
n
Develop genuine partnerships with families
n
Support each child's individual interests, strengths and developmental needs
n
Create an inclusive environment where every child feels safe and valued
n
n
Quality & Child Safety
n
n
Maintain a safe and compliant learning environment
n
Support strong practice across the NQF and NQS
n
Champion child safety, supervision and wellbeing
n
Contribute to continuous improvement and Assessment & Rating readiness
n

What You'll Bring
n
n
ACECQA-approved Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
n
Previous Room Leader or senior educator experience is highly regarded
n
Strong understanding of EYLF V2.0, NQS and NQF
n
Confidence leading, mentoring and supporting a team
n
Current Working With Children Check
n
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications (or willingness to obtain)
n
A positive attitude and genuine passion for early childhood education
n
Plenty of heart, enthusiasm and a love of making learning fun!
