TRADE ASSISTANT WANTED – LIGHT VEHICLE WORKSHOP

Trade Assistant
to join our Light Vehicle team!
This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, is keen to learn and wants exposure to an enormous variety of vehicles, machinery and mechanical work.
What will you be doing?
Assisting our qualified tradespeople with the day-to-day running of the LV workshop
Helping with servicing, repairs and general workshop tasks
Picking up and delivering parts
Keeping the light-vehicle bays clean, organised and ready for work
Learning about different tools, vehicles, systems and workshop processes
Pitching in wherever the team needs a hand
At JB's, you'll get exposure to:
Light vehicles and 4WDs
Heavy trucks
Machinery and equipment
Commercial fleets
Diagnostics
Auto electrical
Air conditioning
Accessories and specialist fleet equipment
Hydraulics
Fabrication
And plenty more!
You won't be stuck doing the same basic jobs every day. With such a broad range of vehicles, equipment and services coming through our workshop, this is an excellent opportunity to learn how a diverse,



integrated fleet-maintenance business operates.
What we're looking for:
A current driver's licence - this is essential
A positive attitude and genuine willingness to learn
Reliable, punctual and able to follow instructions
Someone who takes pride in keeping their work area clean and organised
A team player who isn't afraid to get involved
An interest in vehicles or the mechanical trade
Previous workshop experience is not necessary.
We're more interested in finding someone with the right attitude, work ethic and enthusiasm.
