The store person is responsible for the effective operation, organisation, and continuous improvement of the company store, ensuring materials, tools, and equipment are managed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company requirements. The role supports service and project delivery by maintaining accurate stock control, ensuring timely availability of goods, and implementing practical store workflows that are easy to maintain and audit.
Key responsibilities
Receive, check, and process all inwards goods, including verification against purchase orders and delivery documentation
Arrange, manage, and dispatch outwards goods, including coordination with couriers and freight providers
Issue stock, tools, and equipment to staff in accordance with company procedures
Maintain accurate stock records using Simpro
Monitor stock levels and identify shortages, discrepancies, or damaged items
Maintain and manage company tools and equipment,



including tracking, storage, and condition monitoring
Arrange test and tag of electrical equipment in accordance with regulatory requirements
Ensure all workers and visitors entering the store have signed in in accordance with company procedures
Maintain a clean, organised, and functional store workplace
Comply with all company WHS, quality, and environmental policies and procedures
About you
Ability to maintain accurate stock records and inventory management
Experience with store operations, logistics, and inventory systems
Knowledge of health, safety, and compliance requirements
Ability to organise and maintain store layout and systems
Capability to coordinate with external providers and manage equipment compliance
