Mammoth Storage is a proudly family-owned self-storage business, and we are looking for a reliable, trustworthy and hands-on person to help us keep our Gympie facility looking excellent and running smoothly.
n
This role would suit someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in their work and has a good eye for detail. You will be responsible for completing regular facility checks, identifying any issues and carrying out basic cleaning and maintenance tasks where required.

About the Role
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Completing regular checks of the Gympie storage facility
n
Walking through the site and checking buildings, storage areas, gates, fencing and common areas
n
Identifying and reporting any maintenance, security or safety issues
n
Keeping the facility clean, tidy and presentable
n
Emptying bins and removing rubbish where required
n
Completing minor maintenance and repairs where you have the skills to do so
n
Checking that lights, doors, gates and other facility items are functioning correctly
n
Taking photos and providing updates when issues are identified
n
Reporting any damage, hazards or unusual activity to the Mammoth Storage team
n
Completing other general facility tasks as required
n

About You
n
We are looking for someone who is:

Reliable and trustworthy

Comfortable working independently

Practical and hands-on

A good problem solver with an eye for detail

Physically capable of walking around the facility and completing general maintenance tasks
n
Comfortable using a mobile phone to take photos and provide updates
n
Able to identify when something needs attention and communicate it clearly
n
Able to manage their time and complete scheduled checks consistently
n

Previous experience in property maintenance, cleaning, gardening, facilities management, trades or a similar role would be highly regarded, but is not essential. The most important thing to us is finding someone dependable who takes pride in keeping the facility in good condition.

The Hours

This is a casual, with regular facility checks required at our Gympie location.
n
The role offers flexibility and would suit someone looking for regular local work, additional hours alongside another job, or a semi-retired person looking to stay active.
