About the role
n
MSS Security is seeking a Full-Time Security Officer – Reliever to provide security coverage across our client sites in Gladstone, Rockhampton and Blackwater.
n
This is a diverse role working across maritime, court, mining and static guarding environments, with duties including screening, access control, customer service and general security operations. The successful applicant must have 24/7 availability and flexibility to work across all three locations as required , including DIDO shifts in the Blackwater area.
n
Duties include but are not limited to:
n
n
Monitor CCTV systems, perform access control duties and respond promptly to alarms.
n
Perform regular foot patrols to maintain a safe and secure workplace
n
Provide excellent customer service with visitors, contractors and stakeholders.
n
Manage building access by checking IDs,



creating access passes, and authorising entry.
n

Skills & Experience
n
n
Full Australian Working Rights
n
Current QLD Security License
n
Current QLD Driver's License (Manual)
n
HLTAID011- Provide First Aid, HLTAID010- Provide Basic Emergency Life Support, HLTAID009- Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (or willing to obtain)
n
OH&S; Construction Induction White Card(or willing to obtain)
n
24*7 availability including weekends
n
Willing to undergo and pass a National Police and Criminal History Check and full Medical Assessment, including a Drug & Alcohol test
n
Willing to obtain an MSIC (Maritime Clearance - MSS will fund for this)
n
n
Master licence: *****
