We have a fleet of 200 cranes ranging from 2.5T to ****T, including minicranes, Frannas, all-terrains and crawler cranes. Universal Cranes began as a family crane hire business in **** and have grown to become a national crane hire company. We pride ourselves on maintaining a family business service culture while providing our clients with a national high-capacity fleet.
We are seeking an experienced Crane Technician to work as the primary technician for our Sunshine Coast team supported by our workshop and technician team in Brisbane.

About the role
As the Crane Technician
Perform planned and reactive maintenance across a wide range of cranes
Diagnose and repair both electrical and mechanical faults – in the workshop and onsite
Minimise downtime through efficient troubleshooting, especially of electronic systems and onboard diagnostics




Maintain Electrical Systems.
Mechanical Repairs and Servicing.
Promote health and safety at all times.
Qualifications and experience
Required:
Demonstrated experience in Crane Industry.
Relevant tickets / Licence e.g. White Card.
Relevant trade qualifications (Diesel Fitter / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic)
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure
A positive, team-oriented approach
Preferred:
High Risk Work License – Open Crane
Current Driver's License – Heavy Rigid or above
Experience in Crane Computer Systems
Crane Manufacture Training
Auto Electrical Qualification
The successful candidates will also be subject to the following additional requirements as part of the role:
The ability to pass pre-employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol Testing
Police Check and other Visa requirements
