About The Role
Supply Chain Coordinator/ FT - Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm
In this role, you will be pivotal in supporting our accounts and shipping team, with a key focus on managing and supporting the import requirements of the business. Under the guidance of our Senior Supply Chain Coordinator, you will be trained across the processes and responsibilities required to effectively coordinate our supply chain and import operations.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a supportive team environment, is organised and detail-oriented, and is looking to develop their skills and knowledge within supply chain and import operations. This role will directly report to our CFO.
This is a full-time office-based role, but we are happy to review this once training is completed.
Responsibilities
Working with our Operations Manager to ensure overseas orders are planned, placed and meet schedules.




Working with our Senior Supply Chain Coordinator to quote, book and negotiate freight
Assist with supply negotiations
We are a team that support each other. This role will also be trained in the accounts payable function. This allows for leave coverage and to keep things compelling.
Answer incoming calls as required.
Assisting the broader business with new supplier onboarding, including estimating freight costs and the impact of payment terms.
Keeping our branch network informed of expected arrival dates
Other duties as directed by CFO
What You'll Need To Succeed
12 months experience in purchasing, procurement or supply chain
Our Senior Supply Chain coordinator has over 14 years of experience, so as long as you have some understanding and a good attitude, you'll be learning from the best and will be a success.
Strong communication, problem solving and time management skills.
You have a positive attitude. You are approachable, you bring good energy to everything you do and you are keen to contribute to improving the business processes.
You have sound knowledge of Excel, Microsoft office and an ERP system
We give you the training, but it helps if you understand how landed cost works, how to book foreign exchange deals and how to receipt goods. Just saying.
Ability to work unsupervised.
The ability to work within a team with a positive approach to challenges.
Knowledge of the industry would be advantageous.
If you have drive and a willingness to learn, then we are happy to train the right candidate.
