About the Position As an Early Childhood Teacher at Wholechild, you will play an key role in providing high-quality education and care and developing an engaging, play-based learning program.

Developing and implementing high-quality educational programs in accordance with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
n
Planning experiences that support children's individual interests, strengths, development and learning.
n
Observing and documenting children's learning and using observations to inform curriculum planning.
n
Providing intentional teaching and responsive interactions that extend children's learning.
n
Building secure, respectful and meaningful relationships with children.
n




Supporting children's social and emotional wellbeing.
n
Creating inclusive environments where every child can participate and belong.
n
Working collaboratively with educators and the leadership team.
n
Building positive relationships with families and communicating about children's learning and development.
n
Maintaining high standards of documentation and educational practice.
n
Contributing to continuous improvement and the service Quality Improvement Plan.
n
Ensuring practices align with the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standards and relevant legislation and regulations.
n
Promoting a strong culture of child safety, inclusion and wellbeing.
n

About You We are looking for someone who is passionate about early childhood education and genuinely enjoys making a difference in children's lives.
n
n
An approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification, such as a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or equivalent ACECQA-approved qualification.
n
Current teacher
registration/accreditation
requirements applicable to the position.
n
Experience working in an early childhood education and care environment.
n




Strong knowledge of the EYLF and National Quality Standards.
n
A sound understanding of child development and play-based learning.
n
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
n
The ability to work collaboratively as part of a professional team.

Strong organisational and planning skills.
n
